Vodafone Business Insurance is an insurance policy created for business customers covering you for loss, theft or breakdown after the manufacturer's warranty plus damage to your mobile device in the UK and for up to 60 consecutive days abroad.

What is included and excluded in Business Insurance?

What is included?

  • the replacement (new or refurbished) or repair of your mobile device to the same or equivalent specification if it's stolen, lost, accidentally damaged or is faulty (after the manufacturer's warranty has ended)
  • worldwide cover for up to 60 consecutive days in any one year when travelling abroad
  • cover for any authorised users
  • 1 successful claim per month
  • £25 excess to pay on the settlement of a claim
  • accessories - up to £200 for accessories lost, stolen or damaged at the same time as your mobile.

What is excluded?

  • theft or attempted theft of equipment from a vehicle or premises left unattended and where there's been no evidence of forced or violent entry
  • claims for theft without a valid police report
  • loss or theft caused by deception
  • any costs incurred on your device before it's reported to us as lost or stolen
  • claims where you have changed your device without informing us of the change
  • accessories - batteries are excluded for all claims.

How much is Business Insurance?

Business Insurance is available to all business customers from £6 per month per device premium. Premiums are included along with your line rental and call charges on your mobile device bill. This payment includes Insurance Premium Tax at the appropriate rate.

What devices can be covered by Business Insurance?

Business Insurance covers any Vodafone-provided device which has a SIM card - including 3G phones, BlackBerrys, PDAs, 3G data cards, USB Modems.

This is a monthly renewable insurance policy underwritten by Ace European Group Limited.

Insurance is a Financial Services Authority (FSA) regulated product, and under FSA rules Unified World and Vodafone cannot handle customers' claims. Lifestyle Services Group (LSG) has been appointed by Ace to handle the claims on their behalf.
