So the LG G4 is to shortly become available in “key strategic markets†around the world and already the company has announced plans for 2 variations of the new device; LG G4 Stylus with a larger 5.7 inch screen and yup you guessed it, a stylus. And the LG G4S with a lightly smaller impression at 5.0 inches.
Despite the name similarities, however, the new devices are far behind the G4 in terms of specifications. Both run Android 5.0 and come with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8GB of memory and an 8-megapixel rear camera, coupled with a front 5-megapixel one.
For comparison, the LG G4 has a hexa-core, 1.8GHz CPU, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of memory and a 16-megapixel camera.
The G4 Stylus (G Stylo in North America and Korea) has an optional improved model, with a 1.4GHz octa-core CPU and a 13-megapixel rear camera. It will also be available with or without an LTE chip; the G4c, on the other hand, is LTE-only.
And if the G4′s leathery look option is for you, the news is not good — neither the G4 Stylus nor the G4c are available with a leather-back option; buyers will have to settle with a plastic back in a number of color options, including silver, white and gold (G4c only).
Both the LG G4 Stylus and G4c will be showing up in “key strategic markets in weeks to come, – LGâ€. The pricing has yet to be announced.< Back to Blog
