iOS restrictions for kids (in less than 30 seconds)
Are you ready for this Christmas? Ready for your kids to be receiving their presents and new toys and gadgets. In recent years people have become more open in realising the amount of control that is available to them on their new devices that restrict what their kids can and can’t do.
This can be a benefit for not only content control and accessing websites or applications that may not be appropriate for them but also stopping your children from accidentally making in app purchases that could potentially rack up £1000’s of real currency.
Following these 4 steps will immediately give you control and peace of mind whilst your children open their new gadgets.
From the home screen:
- Open the Settings app
- Tap on General
- Scroll down and select Restrictions
- Tap Enable Restrictions and set a passcode.
In here you will have access to various forms of restrictions, from allowing access to set their own pin, downloading apps, age restricted content limitations, explicit content, Apple Pay and in-app purchases, location services and much more!
Please feel free to contact us on twitter for any questions or more in-depth responses regarding restrictions.
