Before any backup begins, your information is secured at source using 256-bit encryption – the same level of protection trusted by banks, government, and the military.

The inTEC Online Backup client then transfers your encrypted data to our UK-based data centres via a secure SSL connection, ensuring full data sovereignty and compliance with UK regulations.

Once received, your data is re-encrypted with 448-bit encryption and stored safely in its encrypted state. To guarantee resilience, a copy of this encrypted backup is replicated across multiple UK data centres, providing complete redundancy and peace of mind.

You control your encryption key, meaning only you can access your backups. (Please note: without your key, recovery is not possible — a further safeguard ensuring your data remains solely yours.)
